Wolf 359 System

The Wolf 359 System is a system located in the Vulcan Sector of the Beta Quadrant. The system, contains a memorial station to the Battle of Wolf 359 against the Borg in 2367 with salvaged ships docked at it.
System Description
A red dwarf star, Wolf 359 was the site of the first large-scale engagement between Starfleet and the Borg in 2367. Of the 40 vessels that engaged one Borg cube, 39 were destroyed. There is now a memorial for the approximately 11,000 people who died in the conflict.
Missions involved
“Omega Molecule Stabilization”: Wolf 359 is one of the locations the player can be sent to to find Omega Particles.
“Battle of Wolf 359”: a Task Force Operation recreating the battle.
Missions formerly involved
“State of Q”: The player is sent back in time by Q to prevent the Borg from killing Benjamin Sisko onboard the U.S.S. Saratoga. The mission was removed with the release of Season Nine: A New Accord.

While 40 ships took part in the Battle, only 28 of them are present at the memorial due to many ships being totally destroyed.

The U.S.S. Ahwahnee and U.S.S. Saratoga were initially present but removed after fans questioned whether they would be present as the Ahwahnee survived and was put back into service and the Saratoga was seen to be completely destroyed during the battle.[1] The other ships not present are the U.S.S. Bastion, U.S.S. Bellerophon, U.S.S. Bonestell, U.S.S. Columbia, U.S.S. Galatea, U.S.S. Kumari, U.S.S. Righteous, U.S.S. Roosevelt, U.S.S. Selaya and the U.S.S. Tolstory.

Notes
- Prior to Season Thirty-one: Both Worlds, the system consisted of a memorial showing a holographic delta and destroyed ships floating in space around it.
